"A Network to Educate Promote & Advocate for a Greener World"
We are a growing group of people in the Southern Bluegrass area (Boyle and surrounding counties) who are concerned about protecting the environment. We share information, educate the public, and support participants' involvement in environmental initiatives according to their various interests. The climate change crisis has been one of the compelling reasons to organizeHealthy Planet InitiativesPublication of our Green Tips in the Advocate Messenger newspaper in Danville, KY, is one of our major Public Education Initiatives, and the Green Tips are made available, free of charge, to other publications. We are also working on Clean Energy Initiatives which include promoting conservation and green energy to cut down on carbon emissions. We promote farmer's markets, recycling, clean water, and other efforts reflecting our participants various environmental concerns.We are pleased to welcome people who would like to join our network at the level of involvement they choose, from receiving our e-mail newsletter to initiating projects.
